In order to complete the overhaul of J21 class 0-6-0 No. 65033 and restore the rolling stock, and to safeguard the collection for future generations, the Locomotive Conservation and Learning Trust needs to raise money from public donations. We are asking those with an interest in history or railways to consider leaving a gift (legacy) to us in their Will to enable us to achieve this. Once completed, thanks to a previous legacy, the locomotive and coaches will be kept in secure, undercover accommodation.

Leaving us a legacy will ensure that the Trust’s ‘Timeless Trains’ project not only comes to fruition but continues to be available for future generations to enjoy. There are a number of ways that you can leave a gift in your Will, and your solicitor will be able to advise which form of gift is most suitable for you. We recommend that you use a solicitor to draw up your Will to ensure that its execution is simple for your beneficiaries after you are gone.
